Well... I am leaving this morning for Denver to find a place to live..... Sounds Exciting.....I will appreciate any thoughts and prayers as this part of the adventure unfolds.
Some quick notes on the journey so far and some details that I have not up to this point filled in
The journey... slightly....
As many of you know I started out to go to medical school back in 1988... After graduating with a degree in Biology from USC in 1992 I worked for 4 years at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston doing basic Research while trying to get into school. Although we made many friends in the Charleston area, it wasn't God's time for me to go to medical school in spite of my efforts and in 1997 I finally felt that it was time to give it up.... I had a heaviness in just pursuing it at that point.... Soon after I gave up the dream we got an offer to go to the Fairplay Wilderness Boys Camp in Westminster SC and we accepted- and for the next 6 years we ran around the woods of Camp learning all kinds of good things about how relationships work and how to handle all kinds of situations.... Anyway it was after that time of service/employment that the Lord brought back the desire and freedom to pursue my medical school dream once more.....
